However, you will get much more results if you use the Chinese language. Here is the trick – go to Youdao translator and translate your product name from English to Chinese Simplified. Use the result as a search term.

海外商品 – non-China products

二手 – second hand (used products)

天猫 – Tmall (show products only from Tmall – risk-free shopping, but usually more expensive)

正品保障 – only genuine products

24小时内发货 – 24 hours shipping

7天内退货 – can return in 7 days (which is considered as a standard on Taobao, however, some products can’t be returned)

旺旺在线 – alitalk online (to chat with the vendors)

Pay attention to small details, if something looks too good to be true usually it’s not.

Carefully check, how many points Taobao seller earned.

When the numbers are in red means good, which are above from average rank; when the numbers are in green then you’d better think twice before you buy because it is lower than the others.

Check the comments! In this case, there are 1671 comments, you can ask your Chinese speaking friend to translate the comments for you. If there are no comments, we wouldn’t recommend buying from this seller to avoid risk.

Some vendors offer coupons. Usually, when you reach an amount of the money, they will deduct some money, more or less are 10 RMB or 20 RMB cheaper. When you are ready to pay the bill, you can choose to use the coupon.
