Nanluoguxiang / Nanluogu Alley, over eight centuries old, this one-kilometer alleyway is a hub of Beijing bohemian life. Filled with cafes, bars and shops carved out of classic hutongs, it’s Beijing answer to the French Quarter. Hipsters, musicians, artists and tourists rub shoulders tipping cheap beers on outdoor patios or shopping for cool, locally-designed trinkets

It reopened during the Spring Festival holiday after the completion of a two-month renovation project. After the renovation, Nanluoguxiang has welcomed people with her new style.

You might have seen this most tourist-friendly street, a million times. But what about its side alleys? Come check out for some oft-missed gems!
