Beijing Wildlife Park is located about 50 kilometers from the city center, in the fascinating Wanmu Forest. The park offers safari rides, animal performance shows and has over 200 animal species with a total population of over 10 000 animals.

Note that you can also drive your own car through the park. Ready to experience the thrill of having a bear or a tiger within arm reach?

Beijing Wildlife Park gives you the opportunity to see animals in a close approximation of their own habitat. The animals at the park seem fairly free, and reasonably looked after.

Wild Thing
Amongst their ranks are: the big cats – including pumas, panthers, tigers and lions; the exotic birds – parrots, flamingos etc.; large mammals – including primates such as baboons; and four legged friends – such as African hunting dogs, wild boar and the old savannah favourite: the zebra.

Join the Joyride
Most popular with visitors is the 30 minute bus journey allowing a close up view of the fantastic beasts in their homes.

This spot is ideal to escape from the vibrant city and immerse into the wild jungle by having an exciting safari ride.
