Over 40 exciting rides a massive IMAX theater and a shopping complex and you’ll be left wondering just what else Happy Valley Amusement Park has up its sleeve. This fully featured amusement park sits in the Chaoyang district, just below the CBD and Sanlitun areas, and it is the perfect destination for a truly thrilling afternoon.

Happy Valley Amusement Park Beijing is divided into six themed areas, each with its share of child friendly rides and something a little more serious for the big kids of the group. An entry fee of 200RMB for adults gives you unlimited access to any of the rides all day.

Be forewarned that it’s common for large school groups to take over the park on some days. These groups usually leave by 3:30 in the afternoon so plan your trips accordingly.

For the thrill seekers out there be sure to line-up for ‘The Crystal Wing’. It’s Asia’s only flying rollercoaster and is the most expensive attraction in China. It hits a top speed of 51mph and drops over 100ft.
