The new functions have been launched in Wechat recently! Check out how it makes our life more convenient!

Have you been receiving important messages that you haven’t been able to reply to because you’re too busy? WeChat now provides an option to remind yourself of an important message that you would like to review at a later time. With “Reminders,” you will be able to set an exact date and time to receive the notification.

Here’s how it works:

1. Long-press on a message bubble

2. Select ‘Reminders’ and choose a date and time to be reminded for this message

3. Tap “Set Reminder”

4. You will be sent a Notification about the message and can view the reminder within  “Service Messages.”

Sadly this feature now is available for iOS users, Android users have to wait for a while.

In the future, you won’t need to copy over message onto a memo and set an alarm in order to be reminded to follow up or continue an important chat; a handly and practical feature for office workers and others who conduct business through WeChat.

In the past, you can only transfer money to the account that links with your WeChat but the newest version have upgraded “transfer to bank card” function.
Tap on “Money” and input the receiving bank information, then you can transfer money to any bank account.
Of course, there is the same 0.1% bank charge fee as the procedure of “Balance Withdrawal”.

First, you can now create bulleted and numbered lists as well as add checkboxes when you’re creating a shopping or to-do list. Second, WeChat has added a “Sticky on Top” option to allow you to place a banner at the top of your chat list screen so you have easy and convenient access to important notes.

With the new ability to format Notes with bulleted and numbered lists, you will be able to organize your Notes in the more readable format as seen below.

With the “Sticky on Top” option, you can revisit your notes more easily and update it as and when needed directly from the chat list screen.

An additional option in the Chat History to filter searches to just WeChat pay transactions.  With this new ”Transaction” option under “Search History,” you will be able to view all payment transactions performed within a single chat.
