Stay safety! The storm is coming!

We have been stuck with this hot wave for nearly a week and the good thing is in a few days later, we will have reprieve the heat for a while. But don’t get happy to fast! Rain is coming! Precisely, rainstorm is coming.

Recently it was officially announced that Beijing’s going to be hit with several thunderstorms over the next week.

As the climate in Beijing is very dry, but in June and July are the rainy season. Usually, will hit the city with the shower during afternoon or evening and sometimes with a storm in the late night.

The storm in Beijing is crazy heavy and very dangerous! It suddenly starts to rain as someone just pour a pool of water on you and the thunder is loud as like a bomb exploded next to you.

The Beijing Meteorological Bureau is warning people to stay away from rivers, reservoirs and other areas prone to flash flooding for the next few days.

In 2012 summer the storm strikes Beijing with one night, serious flood and caused a tragedy of 37 people dead.  Last weekend, torrential downpours triggered a deadly landslide in a mountainous area of Mentougou, western Beijing, 5 people died in the incident.

Well, we do know the pleasure of singing in the rain but not in the storm people. So stay dry, stay safe, and help out your friends and neighbors if worse comes to worst.
