Offering some of the most educated teachers in the city, Ivy Academy is home to Harvard-trained staff and uses the Multiple Intelligences curriculum that stresses the uniqueness and individuality of every child.This translates into a weekly report for every single child at the end of every year documenting your child's development.
The different kindergartens are based on the Multiple Intelligences theory which has it that human beings have eight main intelligences: linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal and naturalist intelligences. Each individual uses and combines them in a different way so that not two person has the same intelligence. Consistent with the foregoing, the curriculum is customized according to each student’s interests.
In the bilingual schools, there are twenty to twenty-two pupils per classroom and 1 teacher for 5 up to 8 children. Ivy Schools aim at enabling each child to develop self-confidence, interpersonal skills as well as an ability to make good choices and to solve problems independently. Children are taught in a fun and rich learning environment. The facilities include a library, an art classroom and a children’s kitchen.
